Mark Howson Another stunning album from Ruarri, Naomi and Harry - their best one yet in my opinion.

Too often at this stage in a band's development the production begins to dominate, but here the focus is very much on the music and it sounds wonderful.

Can't wait to hear these incredible songs performed live. Favorite track: Maverick Thinker.

Brian Doig Damn I love this album soooooo much! WtC has a unique sound. Totally unique.

Quirky lyrics half sung half spoken in a hypnotic fashion, backed by crazy bonkers genius bass riffs and guitar licks and ass kicking drum beats!

Normally if I recommend a band I can liken them to four or five other famous artists.

Not so here.

There is no other sound like William The Conquerer and I love love love it! Favorite track: Reasons.

WAKE UP (Ruarri Joseph) The sun is a floodlight There’s no place to hide It’s just another day She spied me a keeper Made fun of my voice Knelt at the altar You should be famous You should be in the papers Without your make up There’s no problem Until you make one Think I’d better wake up Your face is familiar Your pain not so Gimme the keys The drip of the citrus The smell of the hide I can’t seem to toughen up You should be famous You should be in the papers Without your makeup There’s no problem Until you make one Think I’d better wake up Mud on the new sheets Ash on the teeth The fizz of the ginger She won’t say yes But I can’t say no Thank god for the radio You should be famous You should be in the papers Without your makeup There’s no problem Until you make one Think I’d better wake up You’re so rude You got some kind of attitude With your cards face up There’s no problem So I’m gonna make one Time for me to wake up
